Hushed, gentle, the slight creature moved softly across this foreign loam, her pallid, rose-bruised forehooves testing the ground in what was a fidgeting shift of weight almost akin with a hop or dance. Fracture's gaze swept expectantly across the surrounding domain, which seemed all but empty, though it took the discerning senses no more than a few seconds to note the recent signature of a strange stag. Her orbs thin and almost the exact hue of liquid chocolate, the young fae glanced around again. This, and the tightness of her slim frame, might have led an observer to the conclusion that Fracture was a nervy, hesitant young mare, and indeed this was the way in which she generally impressed herself.

And you wrote the book on how to be a liar
And lose all your friends
Did I mean nothing at all?
Was I just another ghost?

This is the last time I give up this heart of mine
I'm telling you that I'm a broken man who's finally realised
You're standing in moonlight
But you're black on the inside
Who do you think you are to cry?

Since the moment the pale brute had gained claimence to the Bridge until now, no one besides himself had strode across the barren realm. In fact, no one had ventured past the gates of hell yet. Tiltinb his heavy skull to one side, Reject studied the very breakable figurine with lulling interest. She was the first to step over the boundaries seperating light from dark, however hesitantly her delicate steps were.

Frozen for a moment, merely an insignifigance in time, our ghostly demon watched, his cold gaze piercing and intelligent. Then, as if the momentarily spell was broken, as if Reject had shattered the tying bonds, he stirred from his silent obsession, waking from that living slumber. Each carefully placed step jarred his very bones as he approached the cautious fairy.

"Hello, my dear." He said softly, his cold harks rubbing coarsely across the silence. "I am Devil'sss Reject, Reject if you will. I assume you sssseek haven?" There was something odd about his seductive purr, the hissing sounds drawn out in a foreign lilt. Of course, Reject was not native to this place. Of course he would sound different.

Fracture flinched. It would seem that she had some befuddlement of the senses, (or perhaps she was engaged in some absurd game) for all logic dictated that she should have known of the stranger's approach long before he spoke. Taking the liberty of a little less proximity, the dusk-pelted fae sidled backwards a few steps, but nodded in time to the words of the pallid beast, as though she held full comprehension. She nodded - there was hardly anywhere else she could go. Fracture. She intoned lightly, with half a smile, in response to the other's introduction.

For one lingering moment, waiting for her to speak, the pale demon studied her delicate frame carefully as if searching for signs of harm and possibly blemishes. Reject sensed the hesitation and unease of the breakable figurine even before she spoke, yet her words only assured him of this quess. The silence was shattered by the dove speaking her name and slowly, our ghost raised his skull and gaze to stare into her eyes.

"It isss a pleasssure, my dear. Might I inquire how you came about to be here at the Bridge?"

Reject's voice echoed unintentionally cold as he shifted his stocky frame, waiting for her to speak again.

Fracture's gaze held for a moment or two after the inquiry was passed, as though she hadn't heard or her brain was having difficulty in processing the query. Chance Was all she would enclose, her side of the conversation becoming duller by the second. I didn't want to be alone. Why are you here? Besides the obvious. He did own the place, the pale girl supposed.

[OOC]Sorry it's taken this long :/[/OOC]
