Sample Post: I entered the land at a balanced trot. Halting neatly, I raised my dial, allowing my orbs to scan the area. I saw no one. It seemed I was the only one here. I sighed deeply. I had been alone since I was weaned. My mother had been disgusted that I contained the magical genes inherited by my great grandfather, and therefore she abandoned me as soon as possible. I had journeyed from land to land, attempting to find another but to no avail. I sighed again and elegantly folded my legs, lying down to rest. Suddenly I heard hoofbeats. My ears pricked, listening intently. The horses raced over the brow of the hill and, to my dismay, continued galloping. I hung my head sadly, not realising that the herd had now stopped. and a mare, the one I believed to have been leading the herd alongside the stallion, was approaching me. I quivered as she sniffed over me and eventually nuzzled me and groomed me. I sighed happily as she offered me milk. Never had I known love. After drinking my fill of her milk, we went to the herd, her walking slowly so as not to make me walk fast. Reaching them, her warm vocals spoke to the herd.
My herd, we have a new youngster with us. I will take her in and raise her as my own. It was then I noticed the lead stallion approaching. Once more I shivered, but the mares soft muzzle came to rest on my back, reassuring me. I stood still whilst the stallion sniffed over me. Then he too nuzzled me and the mare, who
was his mate, just as I had thought, and smiled. They had accepted me. Seeming to sense that I was tired, the stallion and mare set about sorting out the others, me close to their sides. We were to spend the night here and set off in a couple of days, when I had more strength.
