Such a pretty angel never walked this earth, though it was not her beauty that set this one apart. No, beauty is only skin deep, and it would take a lot to get past the outer layer on this one. She was different, about that there was no doubt...

The poor acursed femme entered the realm, padded paws kneading the soft ground beneath her. Her tail, long and slender except for the tuft of rich chocolate hair at the end, swung freely behind her as she walked. Short, broad ears swivelled about, catching the sounds of birds chirping and a brook bubbling not far off. Through jade eyes, she took in it all with such amazement. For two years now, she had not known such a tranquil place... only the vast, lonely stretches of barren desert.

She stopped, claws digging into the soil beneath the feathered legs. Perhaps here, for once, she could actually belong... Maybe these were equineoids of a different sort... ones that did not notice or care that her dial was shorter and a bit wider than should be, as were her ears. Perhaps they wouldn't be so frightened of her slitted eyes, nor the lion's paws that she kept hidden beneath milky feathering on her feet.

But then again, she may be an outcast forever...

The twice-painted brute had been exploring the new terrain, simply enjoying the good weather... But then the fragrant scent of a femme crossed his nares. Intrigued, he pirouetted in mid-canter to follow the perfume of the mare to where she stood.

Deep chocolate eyes were kind upon the slightly odd-looking young mare. It was funny, he thought, how her strange looks did not cause her to look anything less than an angel fallen from heaven...

Vocals came slowly, his tongue tied by her otherworldy visage.

He was curious. Kero had just claimed some territory and was eager to gather a herd about himself. Sure, there were few here, but certainly he could persuade this young angel to join him?
